Our Story

Welcome to Backdoor Brick Oven, Bowling Green’s newest destination for fire-baked, handcrafted pizza made with passion, precision, and a whole lot of local pride. Conveniently located just behind our sister business, Two Scoops, Backdoor Brick Oven was built from the ground up with community, quality, and creativity in mind.

The idea for Backdoor was sparked when co-owner Courtney discovered a unique rotating stone brick oven that could cook four to five pizzas at once. This innovative piece of equipment became the heart of the business, offering a cooking method unlike anything else in the surrounding area. The oven’s rotating stone ensures even heat distribution and perfectly crisp crusts—bringing something entirely new to pizza lovers in Bowling Green, MO and nearby areas including Hannibal, Troy, and Ralls County.

What sets us apart is more than just our equipment—it’s our commitment to quality and the welcoming atmosphere we’ve created. We are starting pretty basic, names and flavors😉 but i think just these basic flavors will catch your attention and your taste buds will thank us😎
We will offer 3 sizes and also a “flight” that will include all 5 flavors. This is a great way to test them before you buy.
